I estimate that I’ve read at well over 10,000 books in my lifetime - up to now. While TV took up a great deal of my time throughout my life (see TOTV), the rest was spent reading and drawing. I’ve given up TV, but reading and art continue to be important to me. I shift from one genre to another over time and have read on many different subjects (I’ll be adding my book lists for you to consider).  As I grew up, the Public Library was my greatest companion and I’ve spent thousands of hours in those hallowed halls. I learned the Dewey Decimal System by heart at a very young age (when there was still a card filing system) and can still tell you where most any subject is found even though everything is computerized these days.  So, my recommendation is to Turn Off TV and READ!
