Okay, here are a few more yodelers. I don’t know a lot about them because they don’t have a strong presence on the web...their websites are in German or another lanquage I don’t understand or...they have gone missing. If you know anything about them or it you know of yodelers I haven’t listed please send me a YODEL ALERT.

David Bradley - http://www.borntoyodel.com/

Gone missing, Website appears to be abandoned. His yodel lessons sometimes shows up on eBay as a VHS tape. Be sure to send me a YODEL ALERT if you know about David and if he has any recordings.

Frankenfeuer. This is a german group and their only CD is terrific! The full name is “Meisterjodler Mario & Sein Frankenfeuer - Jodeln Is Mei Freud”. All songs have a peppy contemporary beat and Mario’s yodeling is superior.  Their CD is still available and sometimes shows up on eBay! Be sure to send me a YODEL ALERT if you know about this group.

Heidi. Her yodeling is an absolute delight. Her rendition of Torrani's Mockingbird Yodel is one of the best I've heard! A versatile yodeler, Heidi performs both alpine and country style yodels on her CD “Yodeling Songs Of The Alps”,  although, in my estimation, her alpine yodels are superior. Unfortunately, I haven't found any additional recordings featuring Heidi and there's no sign of her on the web. This may be a one of a kind recording and is a must for all yodeling fans. The recording label is most likely home grown as it’s not on the web either. I do know that this recording was done in Australia or New Zealand. If you have any information about this talented yodeler gone missing please send me a  YODEL ALERT . The iTunes link is actually her recording although it now has in the title “The Yodeling Quartet”. It’s not a quartet and it is the original Heidi recording some how either pirated or just relabeled.

Mike Johnson - http://blackyodelno1.webs.com

Mike Johnson is Country Music's No. 1 Black Yodeler. MIke is a prolific writer, singer, artist and more. One of his great gifts to the the world (besides his songs) is his commitment to video recording many of the unsung yodeling heroes performing at festivals and other events. You can find these on his YouTube channel. You can find his very detailed biography on his site and  check out his CD’s as well. My favortie song? “Yeah, I’m a Cowboy” which is featured on the Bart's compilation "Rough Guide To Yodel" CD as well as on MIke’s own CD.

Gary McMahan - http://singingcowboy.com

I stumbled across Gary’s music while surfing the net in search of yodels and yodelers. I was quite taken with his good ol’ cowboy yodeling technique. A real cowboy and another very versatile artist, according to Gary, "Like horse manure, I've been all over the West”. You can find Gary on YouTube also.

Buzz Goertzen - http://www.rimcountry.com/buzz.htm

“The Idaho Yodeler”, Buzz has a terrific pure cowboy yodel and it shines in many of his songs including some he’s written. Another lucky find, I often search eBay for older recordings and came across an older LP that Buzz recorded some time ago. It included his terrific “The Idaho Yodeler” and “Where Did All The Yodelers Go?”. Every other song a gem as well. I was thrilled to find a web presence for Buzz. Visit his site to get his music.

Greta Elkin - no web site that I can find.

But Greta is on YouTube and you can sometimes find her recordings by searching a little. She often shows up on eBay. Here’s  a country yodeler from Ireland and is a joy to listen to. She shows up frequently in the videos that Mike Johnson shoots of the NATIONAL OLD TIME COUNTRY & BLUEGRASS MUSIC FESTIVAL in Lemars, Iowa. She attends other festivals in the US as well.
